IN RE DAVID H. BERNSTEIN (Metairie), 2015-B-1769, (11/16/15)
The Court denied the petition for readmission. In denying the petition for readmission, the Court further ordered that the petitioner could not reapply for readmission until at least two years have passed from the date of the Court’s order. In 2007, the Court disbarred the petitioner for misappropriating funds from two law firms. In re Bernstein, 2007-1049 (La. 10/16/07); 966 So.2d 537.
IN RE RANDALL J. CASHIO (Baton Rouge), 2015-B-1710, (11/30/15)
The respondent appealed the Disciplinary Board’s imposition of a public reprimand to the Court. The Court held that the Office of Disciplinary Counsel failed to prove the formal charges by clear and convincing evidence and ordered that the formal charges be dismissed.
