The Office of Disciplinary Counsel is pleased to introduce our newest Deputy Disciplinary Counsel, Katie Causey, who now leads our monitoring and probation department.  Katie is a 2010 graduate of the LSU Law Center and spent over seven years clerking for the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal where her research and writing skills were noted as outstanding.  As the head of the ODC monitoring and probation division, she is responsible for overseeing and insuring compliance with the Supreme Court’s orders for new admittees who are conditionally admitted to the practice of law and for those attorneys placed on a term of probation as part of their disciplinary sanction.  She is also responsible for oversight of those attorneys placed on disability inactive status.  Katie’s organizational skills and attention to detail make her an ideal candidate for her new role with ODC.
