The LADB's second episode of 'True Attorney' is now available as an on-demand CLE at www.ladb.org/OCLE. This second installment of 'True Attorney' focuses on instances of misappropriation of funds by attorneys within a law firm.

Governor Edwards Issues Executive Orders JBE 2016-53 and JBE 2016-57

In response to the recent flooding in Louisiana, on August 15, 2016, Governor John Bel Edwards issued an executive order suspending deadlines applicable to legal proceedings.  The order was amended on August 17, 2016.

Final Reminder! 2016-2017 Annual Requirements

LSBA Membership dues and registration statements, along with LADB assessments and trust account registration forms, were due on July 1, 2016.

For those who have NOT YET COMPLETED the requirements:

  • File your Trust Account Registration Form at LADB's website ladb.org/trustaccount».
  • Manage your Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) account and pay your LSBA Membership Dues and LADB Assessment at LSBA's website lsba.org».
