Susan Crapanzano Kalmbach is a deputy disciplinary counsel with the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, joining the office in 2014. Susan retired in 2012 from her position as the administrative general counsel for the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal. For ten years, she served as an adjunct professor of professional practice at LSU Law School, teaching advanced appellate advocacy. After retiring from the state, Ms. Kalmbach worked for one and one-half years as a misdemeanor prosecutor in the Baton Rouge City Court. Ms. Kalmbach graduated summa cum laude in 1985 from LSU with a degree in accounting and received her J.D. in 1988 from LSU Law Center. Ms. Kalmbach is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the National Organization of Bar Counsel.
