LADB Assessment, Bar Dues & Trust Account Registration
The July 1st deadline has passed for paying your LADB assessment and bar dues, and filing your trust account registration. Lawyers who have failed to complete these requirements will receive a notice of delinquency. Failure to complete these requirements may result in delinquency fees and certification as ineligible to practice law pursuant to Louisiana Supreme Court Rule XIX, Section 8(D), and Article I, Section 4 of the By-Laws of the Louisiana State Bar Association. Please note, you are required to complete the trust account registration process at LADB's website even if you do not have a trust account and/or there has been no change in your trust account information from the previous year.
