Welcoming Our Newest Board Members

The Disciplinary Board is composed of 14 members who are appointed by the Louisiana Supreme Court. Comprised of a mixture of attorneys and those from the general public, this group represents a variety of backgrounds and experiences. All members volunteer their time and services.

Recent Decisions From the Louisiana Supreme Court

IN RE WALTER C. DUMAS (Baton Rouge), 2015-B-1570, (2/4/16)
The Court suspended the respondent for two years for mishandling his trust account, which resulted in the commingling and conversion of client funds.

 

Hearing Committee Member Spotlight: Tommy Hayes

MCLE Compliance

Email notification has now gone out to all attorneys who are compliant with the MCLE requirements for the year 2015.  Transcripts can be accessed online at lascmcle.org. 

Any attorneys who are still noncompliant were mailed notice to that effect by letter dated February 22, 2016. (Read More)
